Which versions of mobile OS support AU Mobile app?
Android OS Version: Android 8 and above

How do I download AU Mobile app?
AU Mobile app can be downloaded from Google Play store for Android devices and App Store for Apple devices.

Can I use older and the new application simultaneously?
No, you cannot use both the applications on the same device. Also the old app will be discontinued soon so do register on the new application and enjoy the better experience.

In case of I have not updated the application, then will I be able to use the old application?
Yes, you can keep using the older version as long as AU Bank decides to support the version. However, it is recommended to update your application to enjoy additional features and services.

What if I delete / uninstall the AU Mobile app? Do I need to register again?
Yes, device binding to be done again hence registration is required. However, creating mPIN and debit card authentication is not required. Therefore, these steps are auto skipped.

Are there any charges for downloading AU Mobile app?
There are no charges on downloading AU Mobile app.

How do I register for AU Mobile?
If you have recently opened an account with AU Bank, you can register for AU Mobile through either AU Bank NetBanking or AU obile app. If you have already registered for AU NetBanking, simply enter mPin and start using AU Mobile. Existing customers must register on AU mobile app only.
Following are the steps to register for AU Mobile through mobile app
- a. Open AU Mobile and give permission as required
- b. Post granting permission, click on register
- c. If you have dual SIMs in your phone, select the SIM (mobile number) which is registered with the bank
- d. App will ask for permission to send SMS from registered mobile number for device binding
- e. In case of Android, the SMS will be sent in background
- f. In case of iOS, the application will navigate to native SMS application with pre-filled details, here click send without changing the SMS content
- g. Once device binding is completed, you are required to select desired Customer ID, in case the mobile number is registered to multiple customer IDs
- h. Set and confirm mPIN
- i. Enter Debit Card Details for authentication i.e. Debit Card Number and ATM PIN. This step is optional, however if skipped, you will only be provided with view access
- j. Enable biometric for login for added security, this is optional and asked only if you have registered your Fingerprint/ Touch ID on your device
- k. You are now registered for AU Mobile Banking and can login with mPIN or Fingerprint/Touch ID
Following are the steps to register for AU Mobile while registering for AU Bank NetBanking (for new customers only)
- a. Open AU Bank NetBanking and click on Register
- b. Enter Customer ID (provided in your welcome kit/ welcome mail)
- c. Select to register using Account Number or Debit Card
- i. Register using Account number – you will only get view access
- Select account type
- Enter account number
- ii. Register using Debit card – you will get full/transaction access
- Enter debit card number
- Enter ATM PIN
- d. Enter OTP received on registered mobile number
- e. Set Password
- f. Set mPin for AU Mobile
- g. Set security question
- h. Set username
- i. Internet banking & AU Mobile registration is complete
- j. You can login to AU NetBanking by entering username and password as set in earlier steps
- k. You can login to AU Mobile by entering mPIN as set in earlier steps
Note: Registration with Debit Card is required to get complete transaction access

How do I de-register from AU Mobile if my phone is lost/stolen?
You can deregister for AU Mobile through AU Bank NetBanking. Just login to AU Bank NetBanking, go to Settings in the main menu and select “De-Register” to deregister your lost/stolen device.

What is mPin?
mPin is a 4-digit passcode that you set while registering for AU mobile app. You can use mPin to login to AU Mobile.

I have forgotten my mPIN. How can I reset it?
On AU Mobile, tap on Forgot mPin. You can reset your mPin with either of the two options below.

Can I register for AU Mobile on a device that does not carry the SIM card of registered mobile no.?
The registration will fail as your registered mobile number is required to activate the application.

I have the registered mobile no. SIM card in my device, still I am getting an error while registering for AU Mobile.
If the registered mobile number is being used to send the verification SMS, it seems the SMS may not be getting delivered. Please try again from a place where mobile network is better as the message sending depends on the operator and not on the application.

What if my mobile phone switches off while performing a transaction?
You can simply reconnect to AU Mobile and verify your transaction history to check if the transaction has been executed. You can also check the Account Statement.
