Q1. Will I be able to register my RuPay Credit Card on UPI, if my mobile number on UPI application is not linked with RuPay Credit Card?
For a user to register their RuPay Credit Card on UPI application they must have the same mobile number linked with their RuPay Credit Card and UPI application.
Q2. How can I link my AU RuPay Credit Card on UPI application if I have changed my mobile number?
If a user has changed their mobile number, they must update the same for RuPay Credit Card too. Post updating, they have to re-register their Credit Card on UPI application.
Q3. Can I link my VISA/Mastercard Credit Card to a UPI application?
As of now RBI has allowed only RuPay Credit Card to link with UPI application.
Q4. What will be the maximum number of transactions I can make on UPI application using my RuPay Credit Card?
There is a daily limit on number of transactions a user can make on UPI application set by NPCI
Q5. Do I get reward points or cashbacks for doing transactions on RuPay Credit Card?

Users can only make transactions on domestic merchants via UPI enabled RuPay Credit Card
Q8. How do I link my RuPay Credit Card to UPI application?
Download the UPI Third Party Application (eg. BHIM, PayTm and Mobikwik) from the Play Store/App Store.
Verify the Mobile Number on the UPI Application and complete registration- on application.
Post successful registration, select the option “Add Credit Card/ Link Credit Card”.
Select Credit Card Issuer Bank (AU Small finance Bank).
Select your AU Small Finance Bank Credit Card to be linked.
Confirm the details displayed on the screen.
Proceed to generate UPI PIN (if not already done).
Q9. Can I authenticate UPI transactions using AU Small Finance Bank RuPay Credit Card Pin?
No. The user will have to set a separate UPI Pin to authenticate payment transactions using AU RuPay Credit Card via UPI App
Q10. How do I set my daily limit on UPI for RuPay Credit Card or switch off transactions on it?
A user can set the daily transaction amount limit for UPI on AU RuPay Credit Card transactions by setting the limit on POS Usage in AU 0101 application. If they wish to switch off UPI transactions on AU RuPay Credit Card, they will have to disable POS usage limit in AU 0101 application
Q11. I have an existing Credit Card of AU Small Finance Bank (e.g. Altura, Vetta), will I be able to link It to UPI application?
As per RBI guidelines a user can only link a Credit Card set up on RuPay network, no other networks Credit Card e.g. VISA/Mastercard can be linked to UPI application.
Q12. Are there any mandatory requirements prior to linking AU Small Finance Bank RuPay Credit Card on UPI application?
Yes, before linking the AU RuPay Credit Card to your UPI application it should be activated and POS enabled, however your AU’s Credit Cards are POS enabled by default.
Q13. If my AU RuPay Credit Card is renewed, do I need to link it on UPI again?
A user can set the daily transaction amount limit for UPI on AU RuPay Credit Card transactions by setting the limit on POS Usage in AU 0101 application. If they wish to switch off UPI transactions on AU RuPay Credit Card, they will have to disable POS usage limit in AU 0101 applicationYes, a user will be required to re-link their AU RuPay Credit Card with UPI application if they have renewed their RuPay Credit Card.
Q14. Will I receive a physical InstPay Credit Card?
InstaPay Credit Card will be Virtual only, accessible through digital Channels such as AU 0101, ChatBot, IVR and Website. User will not receive a physical Card.
Q15. How is the credit limit for InstaPay Credit Card determined?
The Credit limit of InstaPay Credit Card will be shared with your Existing Primary card.
Q16. Will I receive a separate statement for my InstaPay Credit Card and my existing Primary Credit Card?
A user will get separate Credit Card statement for each Credit Card they own.
Q17. Do I need to make separate bill payments for each Credit Card?
A user must make separate bill payments for each Credit Card.
Q18. If I make an excess payment on one card, will it clear bill of my other Credit Card?
Any excess payment made by user on one Credit Card will not be applied towards bill of other Credit Card. A user must make separate payment of the bills generated against each Credit Card.
Q19. Is there any criteria for availing 1% cashback on InstaPay Credit Card?
The transactions should be made on the eligible MCCs pertaining to Departmental stores, Grocery store, Supermarket, Restaurants and eating places, and Pharmacy stores. Additionally, the transaction amount should be greater than or equal to INR 200.
