AU Positive Pay

AU Positive Pay is a service introduced by AU Bank to safeguard the cheques issued by customers holding savings, current and CC/OD accounts and presented through Cheque Truncation System (CTS) clearing. To avail this service, please enter customer ID, account number, cheque number, date of issue, name of the beneficiary / payee and amount.

Note :- Cheque information will be available for validation only on the next working day. The cheque details are cross checked by CTS with the presented cheque. If the details match, the cheque is honoured. In case of mismatch, the cheque is referred back to the customer.

1. What is AU Positive Pay?

AU Positive Pay is a service introduced by AU Small Finance Bank to safeguard the cheques issued by customers holding savings, current and CC/OD accounts and presented through Cheque Truncation System (CTS) clearing.
 

2. Why is it being implemented?

 AU Positive Pay is being implemented for safety in cheque payments and reduce instances of fraud occurring due to tampering of cheque leaves.
 

3. What are the details to be submitted?

To avail this service, please enter customer ID, account number, cheque number, date of issue, name of the beneficiary / payee and amount.
 

4. Where can I submit cheque details?

5. Which cheques will come under this category?

As per RBI guidelines, we encourage our customers to use AU Positive Pay facility for all cheques issued for amounts of ₹50,000 and above. However, AU Small Finance Bank customers can avail this facility for all cheques, irrespective of the cheque amount.
 

6. Is it mandatory to use Positive Pay for cheques issued for amounts of ₹500,000 and above?

We strongly recommend our customers to use this facility for cheques issued for amounts of ₹500,000 and above. However, it is not mandatory to use AU Positive Pay facility.
 

7. What will happen if the cheque details don’t match?

In case of any discrepancy or mismatch in cheque details, we will contact the customer for confirmation. If customer is not reachable, the cheque would be returned unpaid.
